Wiring Footwell Lights

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

First post in here.

My car is in for repair so I bought a 2011 Skoda Fabia estate for £1,600 to keep me going, as the repairs will take a while.

Turns out I quite like it!

I'm looking to install footwell lights and have watched this video:

I feel he has missed out some steps for a total noob, so I'm unable to follow it exactly.

I have the same car so I'll use the same fuse but can anyone tell me if I've ordered everything I need, please?

I've attached screenshots of my Amazon orders. I knoe Ebay/AliExpress would have been cheaper but I'm very impatient.

Some - or most - will be returned but I just wanted to make sure I'm covered.

He doesn't say in the video what amp the fuse is, for example, and this is something I need to know.

If anyone can give me some pointers I'd be extremely grateful.

Cheers

Hi u dont need that converter. U can just hardwire the tap fuse to fusebox to the rear wiper. Than cut the usb end on ur lights and wire it to the tapfuse the red. And find a ground ( any screw ) for the black. Thats all and easier :)
