Just need a little advice please 🙏🏻 on my 2007/07 Roomy 3 👊🏻

 

My passenger door as a issue.... 🤦

 

• When you unlock the doors.... it won't open (only from the inside either by pulling the lever or the door release button in the console) it's still locked on the outside 

• when you lock the doors, and pull the handle "to make sure they are locked etc" the door is still unlocked & sets the alarm off.

• i've been listening for sounds when locking and you can hear the other doors lock and only occasionally the front passenger door locks

• and yes I've tried manually putting key in the drivers door and locking the doors that way and still the same top two issues...

 

Is this the lock mechanism? And needs changing? Or does it nerd a good dose of WD40? 😂😂

 

I only ask, as when the rear door played up... I couldn't open it from the outside or inside and that was down to the lock mechanism.

Sort of.

Yes in that the door mechanism isn't actuating correctly.

No in that the likely fault is an internal break in one of the wires in one of the front door bellows.
