Network Improvement Work.

We will be performing network improvement work late on Sunday 2nd July 2006, which will affect all services going through our Tiscali transit connection. During the maintenance there will be periods when the service is unavailable. We are performing the network maintenance outside of core business hours to minimise disruption, and we do not anticipate the maintenance time to exceed 30 minutes. We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

We are updating the Cisco software on one of our routers to the most recent version, which contains a number of improvements. There will be a few short interuptions to service while the OSPF and BGP routing protocols adjust to the different paths.
