been researching ways to increase my power of my car, however always seem to be hitting a brick wall. ive heard that it isn't worth perhaps modding my 1.2 litre engine but also want the joy factor of having a faster car. 

 

any help would be appreciated :)

No idea why you hit a brick wall in as far as modding, tuning, the Remappers do 1.2 TSI,s.

 

Maybe have a look in the Fabia Project section and see what others have done.

Then there is 14 years of threads in this section with people getting remaps or using tuning boxes.

hey man, I think im at 105 bhp. as im terms of me hitting a brick wall is the fact I have no idea where to start or look, but I will definitely have a look at the project section

How long have you had it,

How many miles has it done,

Has the Timing Chain and Tensioner ben changed / Upgraded if it is a pre upgrade one? 

Does it run well now, no issues, no engine rattles?

ive had the car for roughly 1 year now, and its currently sitting at 95k. and the timing chain and tensioner have not been upgraded, but engine runs well fully serviced 1 week ago now however 2 days ago I had some misfiring on my 3rd ignition coil lead which was replaced. 

When were the spark plugs replaced?

 

Are you running it on E5 97 or 99 ron unleaded?

 

Just choose a local trusted person that can remap the car and that is that.

A nice clean Air Filter fitted.

 

Brakes serviced, upgraded if needs must.

 

Be sure you an get insurance at not too much of a silly price if it does cost you more.

same time oils/serviced. but only running on 99 Ron. but I see ill have a look into it im sure I have friends of friends who can remap. cheers for the help
