This is now the second time tailgate motor broke on my 2014 Combi. On the first time they were replaced in a dealership, and on the second time I replaced them with Deffner parts. They only lasted less than 4 years, and now I bought new ones from ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/206255408562 I just replaced the motors. Now the boot door stays open again, however it won't open nor close by the motor. The four cables should have been installed correctly. When I press the open/close button, the only

Since I had a really hard time gathering some popular options to be coded on my Octavia MK4 while avoiding one click apps, I figured it would be nice to post a summary of my findings so far. Some I haven't tested so please do let me know if they work. Would also appreciate if some can be added. Hi My air con isn't getting cold, when I press the air con button the fresh air coming out the vents doesn't change. I've had the system re-gassed and they said there are no leaks. I've checked all the flap motors that I can see (4 of them, 3 on the left hand side and 1 on the right), all seem to be working. I've been looking at the workshop manual and the owners manual to try to find any fuse or relay that might control or power the compressor. Apart from fuse 7 behind the glove box, I can't s

Little update since i posted about my Superb 280 going stage 2 back in may. I have questioned the high torque figure ( 618nm) with the tuner and was assured that it's a safe map, ok i left it at that. Three days after remap, car starts burning oil without even being pushed hard. So i switched to thicker 5w40 Castrol Edge ( issue rectified) Week later i pinned it from traffic lights and car cut power after 5000rpm. Gear changes felt really rough and jerky. Questioned it with the tuner, got nowher

Hi there, I'm new to this forum and my Dad suggested it might be worth a try asking for advice. I have just got (June) a 2nd hand Skoda fabia elegance, 2011. When I picked it up, the air con worked great for the first 10 minutes or so then stopped and was just blowing warm air. (Temps outside were high 20's maybe early 30s). I took it to Halfords which ran an Air con diagnostics: Results: System has pressure leak, system appears to be low on refrigeration gas and recommended to be fully evacuat
