I need to replace the metal connector that holds the horizontal vanes. Is the image correct?

Just replace whole center air vent box. Easy to do, there is manual just google for it. Costs around 50€ from www.rrr.lt or similar used parts shop.

Thanks but I've lost it now so I've ordered a new one

Hi. I have one of these that has disappeared, and was looking to replace the bit. Seems pointless to buy a whole new unit.

Did you order just the missing bit or a whole new vent unit?

I eventually bought a new one ( as I lost it,) from some Chinese site £72 which I thought good value as it fitted perfectly. Bad news was after it arrived I found the connector, sods law

Damn, that sucks. I don't suppose you still have that connector, do you? 😆

No sorry I lost it again I don't think I would have thrown it out, it's not like me

Worth a shot, I guess. I'm borrowing an endescope to look in the bulkhead, try and find the missing bit.
