"Button for Driver assistance defective" dash warning message

Featured Replies

Hi, I've been getting a "Button for Driver assistance system defective" warning message on start up, however, on looking up about this, I can't work out which button it's talking about or noticed any issues with the buttons on the dash or steering wheel, which all operate as they should.

Generally when reading up about this warning, people have been encountering quite serious issues or things like cruise control not working. I'm trying to get the car booked in under warranty who are aware of the issue, I'm just curious what could be causing the warning with no issue being experience. Faulty sensor?
