Sat Nav Woes

Featured Replies

I have just tried to update my 2017 Skoda Superb with the 2024 update.

I created a brand new SD card down load and inserted the card in the number 1 slot.

It said 2024 update available

Three times it said remove the card and reinsert due to data interruption which I did.

No Joy

So i removed the card.

I deleted the data on the card and then copy the files over again.

When I went to insert the card again in slot 1

It says update available but

Now it is saying no navigational database available and will do absolutely nothing

I just get a blank screen in the navigation area

Help please ! Any ideas

many thanks

Paul

I did not use a MAC i used windows

I updated my MY2017 in 2022 when I got it, with no problems, but won't bother again. I use Waze which is constantly updated and far less trouble. If you go down this route the only thing I would advise is to use a really good quality short cable from the socket to the phone.

Try Gpspower.net forum. Navigate to the VW/Skoda section and 2024/25 maps are there. Download a suitable SD car; mines a 64gb one and try that. I did mine and had no issues.
