As the title says, i was wondering where is the best place to see the racing action at the BTCC next month? I've never been before and would appreciate your expert advice on the matter.

pit straight near end of straight , then you can see first corner melee and into chicane on the far side , or sit up on the bank on the other side of the pits to watch them coming from the esses to sunny in/out and hairpin

Best place I think is on the banking either just before the Complex or right on the complex!

You get to see the cars coming from tower, nailing it through the Jim Clark esses, into Barcroft, then through sunny in and sunny out and then watch them out breaking each other into the Complex!

It's where all the action happens Get there early though or you'll be too far down the banking to see across to tower!

Great advice, thanks Steve. I'm not too far away from the circuit in Scarborough, so we should be there fairly early. I'll be leaving the Octavia at home though as my mate has said I can drive his Civic Type R for the day. I feel a traitor to the Skoda cause, but it should be a laugh driving something else for the day.

watched the touring cars at oulton park earlier this season , you can expect loads of trade stands , vauxhall stand has lots of VRX cars and goodies , lots of pit dollies , 3 touring car races and iirc formula renault , seat leon cupra cup and a few others i cant remember , it will be packed with spectators and if it sunny wear a hat,sunscreen etc even if its just warm with a breeze your face will end up red , well mine did when i was there LOL , have a good day
