Sadly had our first gremlin in our 2024 SEL estate at weekend. 

 

popped up on dash & in app ‘error exterior lighting fault!’ Lights were all stuck on with no means to operate the switches and then at same time the AC was on and fans blowing full chat on ‘lo’ setting on sync but no air coming out the vents. 
 

Left the car approx half hour, turned it back on, no difference all still faulty. Decided to go old school and disconnected battery for 15 mins. Went back to it all faults cleared all operating normally. 
 

Its running software 1940 any one heard of these issues? Hoping just a software update will resolve and not the start of a bigger issue?? 

Sorry to hear that and, as you say, hope it's not a sign of future troubles. Given the 12v battery (on mine at least) is basically inaccessible sealed in its own "tomb" beneath the boot floor, how did you disconnect it?

Ours is a 1.5 e-tec so 12v battery is in the engine bay
