Where to find the paint color code?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm trying to find out the colour code of the paint of my car. On the documents, it says Metalic Graphite Grey but I need the code to order a touch-up pen.

I looked in the proposed places like the boot, under the reserve wheel, the door posts, the glove compartment and under the hood but I can't find the label.

Any other places I can search?

Thanks,

E.

Welcome.

You now need to use the Reg no.,  or VIN, or ask the vendor telling them the VIN.   But then i am pretty certain it is this Number.

I have the 'graphite grey' (I believe) Mk4 2020 Octavia. I recently bought two touch up paints, both via ebay, one from r.s.autoworks (marked as LF7C) and one from ab.touch-ups (F7C), they seem identical to each other, but are lighter than my car, see photo

Do I need to shell out nearly £30 for the 'official' Skoda parts e.g. the one in Swindon? Does anyone know if this is a better match or another supplier? @EchoWisky what year is your car and did you get a good paint match?

I have the same problem. I have found Quartz Grey Metallic LF7Y online, but would rather find it on the car.

My Skoda connect app says the code in inspect --> car details
