I bought a brand new Skoda Octavia mk4 2024 2.0 TDI 2 months ago. Since I bought it, the car has some problems, like frozen radio, parking system not available, fault in rear lights..

 

I take my car to the dealer and they said all are ok.. last week, they updated my infotainment, but this problem continues .. sometimes you can use the car and everything is ok; but sometimes, when you put R the problem appears. Yesterday (Thursday 6) I went to the dealer again and scan all my car and they said everything is ok and they “upgrade” my virtual cockpit and parking system…

 

unfortunately, today the problem appears again.

 

does anybody have any idea about that??

 

Pd: the fault appears and after a few minutes disappears 

this is happening to me only in sun conditions when the sun is in left-front of the car, it seems that the sunlight block the sensor and after you change direction on the road it goes away by itself. do you have something similar ?

I used to get it on low 12v battery. Seemed to turn stuff off if low charge when I started the car. Not really happened since they replaced battery

Actually nop.. My problem is in different conditions..  when the weather is sunny or cloudy.. when you are parking, when you put R, when you are going driving normal (on D).. so the problem appear and all parking system gone (camera and parking sensors disappear).. BUT, the problem is sporadic

too many electronics  I am skeptical for the future, everything will be like this !!!

At this moment, my car is at the official workshop. They are trying to solve the problem 🤦🏻‍♂️

did you fixed it ? what was the problem? my car does this once in a while and it goes by itself away

no yet... My dealer workshop change my battery for a while, I'm using it for a moth a works fine. In a few days, we will put the original battery to try again
