EGR Location (Engine:CRLB)??

Featured Replies

Evening all

Had a nice long drive back from Gatwick Aiport last night, got back in the car this morning to an Eng Management light on. 😫

Quick scan and had EGR codes PO46C00 and P040500, both "intermittent". Cleared the codes and cycled engine a few times nothing has reappeared.

However I'm not convinced this will be the end of it. As such I want to get an eyes on to try and see if its gunked up etc.

I've been having a dig through the forum and Google bit struggling to find anything concrete on the EGR Valve location for the CRLB engine.

Anyone know their way around these engines?

TIA

Typo

Hi. I had mine off recently to troubleshoot an issue and fortunately the CRLB is kind - the EGR is reasonably easy to get to.

Take your air inlet out all the way up to the Turbo and you'll find it round the back and to the side of the turbo.

There's some YouTube videos you can check out but if not I'll send you more info.

FYI - take your EGR off and it will rattle, sounds like a fault but it isn't, it just likes to rattle.

Hi,

Can you please send a link to a youtube video?

I'm looking at removing my EGR and blanking it.

Thanks

Hello, me again, so Im about to change it but I just cant find egr location. There should be two, one right "under" plastic engine cover and one close to DPF. Any chance that you know which one they replaced for you?
Red circle one is better for replacement - should be 04L 131 501 AD
many thanks!
