Looking for help.

 

Would it be possible to change the orignial DSG gear shifter to another model like the ones in an Audi A6 where the button is on the side. Or an like on the older superbs ??

Is it possible to change it with the one from Kodiaq?

i have seen several reports about replace on Superb and Octavia to Kodiaq

This is something I have also considered.

if the white plastic part breaks do you have to replace the whole floor shifter?

Yes you have to change it all then. 

Its done. Was a piece of cake basic. 1 hour and a half and it was done. Was pretty easy. I totally forgot to take photos during the process.
