Diagnosing fuel pressure issue - car conked in middle of road

Featured Replies

Today at the best time - on the way to work in the rush hour - my MkIII 2.0TDI Octy conked out quite suddenly in the middle of the road, and didn't start again. No warning signs at all, no lights on dashboard no warnings on the screen/dash.

I'm looking for help diagnosing - it's at a friend's garage who's a good basic mechanic, but not up on ECU/error code stuff, so looking for help with how to diagnose/fix this before I give in and take it to a Skoda expert. I've got the error codes from a scan today from the AA who towed me to the garage.

Any and all advice on this much appreciated! symptoms and error codes below

- It is possible to rev it quite hard, but it conks after about the same amount of time as if you don't rev it hard
