Octavia III USB A port power output?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, looking to buy a suitable Magsafe phone charger & Mount and had my eye on the ESR 15W Car charger (w/ Magsafe model). This model can charge reasonably fast is it has an adequate power source. Looking at the Octavia manual there is no mention of the power rating coming from the USB A input. Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks, Rich

Its a USB2.0 port -The USB 2.0 specification allows Hosts to deliver 5V at 500 mA, for a total power output of 2.5 watts.

Measured mine, fluctuates around 200mA.

Thanks, I really appreciate your reply!

I'd recommend getting one of these, 2A plus,  flush fit, good quality metal build, cheap - AINOPE Car Charger https://amzn.eu/d/07R8MFsP
