Virtual cockpit

Featured Replies

Hello, I have one simple question. On virtual cockpit we have 3 sections: left, middle and right. In left and right we can have navigation routes but why we cant have it in middle. I ask because every time we start via Android auto route in Waze or Google Maps it is shown in the middle section as a first tip and after no. How to do that it is always shown like in left or right. Thank You

Think it depends on age of car and software version. The later instances will display maps in centre of the dash. If that's what your asking

Hello, I have latest model before the new 2024 facelift. I did not ask for maps, I ask about route guidance - arrows that shows where You need to go when You have active navigation. I know that You can set it in left or right section but why not in middle. Nevertheless when You start routing  it is shown the first arrow and then nothing. Thnx

I get them in the middle on mine for android auto and mines a 2023 model. Not sure about built in nav as I hardly use it because Laura is terrible at understanding addresses.

But for android auto map guidance the arrows pop up at same time you get voice guidance messages

That is the matter, I get them when I start, after that no. Look picture20240701_101202.thumb.jpg.9567f2d7e03d072f37da3c99f5c357e9.jpg

Mine is a MY22 car and i get the directions at the top of the middle section as per your picture for the full length of the journey being done.

Hello, do You have active factory navigation? I had it for 1 month and noe it is not active. Maybe is that what is wrong

I have and use the built in sat-nav yes.... I also subscribe to the multimedia connect service but that shouldn't make any difference to the directions being displayed by the built in sat-nav at the top middle of the virtual cockpit display as the built in sat-nav can be used without the subscription service (That just gives you live traffic info and the latest maps automatically downloaded to the car every couple of months).

Mine is a vRS so is the Columbus rather than Bolero.

Mine is Columbus in my iV 2024 year and it shows all the time when you have a journey set.

Bolero doesn't have that option. That's a case. Solved. Thank You guys
