Cheap printer

Featured Replies

Well the R300 printer that was bought for xmas in 2004 has bit the dust.. its saying theres a cartridge not inserted when it is.. weve tried changing the carts.. no difference..

so does anyone have suggestions for a very cheap printer that will be reliable? not after photo printing this time. :)

I think they are pretty much equal in the reliability stakes ...lexmark use horendous amounts of ink..........I have always got on with epson so that's what I buy :)

just get you're ink from here though http://www.discandink.co.uk/ their compatable inks really are as good as the original, and the amount you save will pay for a new printer in no time

Cheap laser printers:

B&W - £49.99 at PC World on a special.

Colour - £249 at PC world again on a special.

Would never run an inkject if you are printing lots of pictures as they are just so expensive per page, especialy if you use coated papers to get that laser chrisp look for text etc.

Depends how you buy your ink...you can actually buy litre bottles of ink for refilling for about
