2001 Octy vRS Oil Pressure Switch

Featured Replies

Where is this located? Another thread mentioned just above the oil filter - but I can't find it!!

It all looks a bit tight in that location - if it is there do you have any tips to help replacing it - ie which bits should I remove from around it to make the job easier.

Finally , if it has gone - should it show as an error code in VAG-Com?

Wont show a fault code.

It is just above the oil filter, single terminal plug.

Hi cheeze..............

This is the car that I bought crashed and had repaired. There were some threads on it over 2 years ago , for those members that have a good memory.

I did have pictures in my gallery , but they seem to have disappeared.

I still have the car and it is still going strong. This oil pressure switch is the first problem I have had since it went back on the road over 2 years ago. (Excluding the air con , which has never been right!!)

Cheers , Steve.
