Hello all,

Have just bought a 1.6 FSI Octavia (registered March 05) and, in addition to saying hello to you all, would like to be pointed to where I can find a guide to which parts of the confusing Owners Manual apply to my version and not the other 57 varieties of this great car. Any advice would be welcome:confused:

Welcome to Briskoda. I think you need to sit down in your car along with the 311 page long Owner's Manual and a suitable marker pen (eg Stabilo Boss yellow) and work your own way through what it has and hasn't got. The RRP List and Tech Spec Brochure from a dealer might also help. Good luck.

I've found out a few tricks (such as the fact that although the manual states that the Service Interval Display is shown if you "switch on the ignition", it only works if you don't start the engine but turn the key to the first position!!!!!!!):confused:

Still working my way through:rolleyes: best just to push buttons and see what they do
