Superb Estate boot dimensions

Featured Replies

Been looking at cars to carry my greyhound in - she is used to traveling in a crate,

Can't find the actual dimensions of the Superb estate anywhere only their overall size  eg. 690L

Can someone find the time to measure their boot and let me know actual  width,  height and depth in cms please?

This seems to be the Mk4 size.

The Mk3 boot is « only » 660l (less is iV version).

Thanks for your reply - yeah doesn't look like the current crate will fit as I'm sure it is 86cms high - that PDF says the Superb is only 80cms

The dog travels in a crate as that's what she was used to when she was racing.

I thought all dogs had to now be secured in a vehicle and not left loose?

There’s no specific law but the Highway Code says restrained etc.

My dog doesn’t climb over the back seats so suitably restrained, if he did try to get out then I’d get a dog guard but they don’t need to be in a crate.

If they’re on the backseats then you’d need a harness because if you had to brake hard they’ll come flying forward but in the boot they can’t
