I own a Skoda Superb III 03.2018, Sportline. 
my problem: at the end of December 2023 my car radio in the glove box burned; the fuse has blown, the harness has not burned it is ok 
I bought a car radio of the same model and it was coded by the seller, so far so good,
except that I no longer have the microphone that works. Whether for phone calls or my voice control on the steering wheel, when I press the button it asks me what I want but it doesn't pick up any sound through the microphone
I tested my original microphone with a multimeter, it is ok; I bought another one in case they have the same values, so it doesn't come from the microphone. 
If you have an idea to guide me, thank you in advance.

Hi,

Did you have a look on the wiki.ross-tech, to see what they suggest as possible causes and solutions for the DTC which raised thru your VCDS scan?

 

Without having a look to the wiki.ross-tech myself, I would think the microphone hasn’t been plugged back. This would be consistent with the default code pointing a « No communication with microphone control unit ».

 

Other possiblity, if you own an official VCDS version from Ross-Tech, you can ask for some support on their forum (also an english forum, sorry).

je vais regarder derrière le fakra/iso au cas où 

j ai la version officiel du vcds ( version 10 vin)

It looks like you have just fitted the radio without any coding or component protection removal.

 

This will prevent a lot of functions working and needs to be removed by someone with ODIS before it will begin to work.

Have you fitted like for like part numbers? If so, has the coding and adaptations been updated with ODIS to the correct ones? as i assume your old one is unreadable.

Je débute sur VCDS donc je ne connais pas toutes les procédures 

 

S il y a une mémoire interne sur VCDS Je pourrais avoir le LOG de l ancienne version, pas sur...

j ai changé d ordinateur entre temps. 

 

Je l ai juste utilisé pour le changement de ma batterie en suivant les infos sur des vidéos sur YouTube

I gave my VIN so that the seller could code it for me and that's it.
 
I'm new to VCDS so I don't know all the procedures 
 
If there is internal memory on VCDS I could have the LOG of the old version, not on...
I changed computers in the meantime. 
 
I just used it to change my battery by following the information on videos on YouTube

Depending on if the seller back door'd the system to remove component protection, or if they simply havent - you need to find out?

 

Because to me it needs component protection removing before you even bother looking at other faults.
