two problems with the coviniance system 2000 1U5

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, some time ago i updated the central locking system of our Octavia to a convenience one, changing from 1C0962258J to 1J0959799Q and later to 1J0959799AH for the remote futures. We used all original parts pulled from junkyard cars and everything is working good except for two problems i have. The first one is that i can unlock the car from the trunk lock, it cam lock it but refuse to unlock, it unlocks normally from any other lock from both front door and the remote, checked all the wiring and switches and everything is fine, no idea why is doing that. The other more annoying problem and honestly the one i want to fix the most is when the car is unlocked from anywhere, with the keys or with the remote she lowers all windows down right after unlocking unless you unlock her second time right after the first and that cancels the rolldown of the windows. There is this code in the module "01033 - Central Locking Key Switch; Passenger Side; Unlock 29-00 - Short to Ground" we tried changing the lock mechanism of the passenger door with new one but same problem, the oter thing we noticed is when i unplug that lock mechanism the car doesn't roll the windows down anymore after unlocking and works as it should, checked the wiring inside the passenger door but couldn't find anything wrong. Also tried swapping the 1J0959799AH module several times with different ones but the problems remain. Please any help will be appreciated
