Rapid spaceback 2016 radio

Featured Replies

Hi, I bought a 2016 Skoda Rapid Spaceback 1.6 tdi 115hp, previously I had a 2013 Skoda Rapid Sedan 105hp, my problem is that I would like to install the car radio that I had working in the old car in the new one. I tried but the car radio doesn't turn on, it's an atoto car radio for volkswagen. I would like to know if anything has changed and if it is possible to buy a new harness, thanks.

Can you confirm if your Spaceback is a Mk1 or a mk2 (facelift)? If your side indicators are on the front wings, it’s a mk1, if they are built into your wing mirrors, it’s a mk2.

Hello, they are build into the wing mirrors.

Ok, facelift model. What was the head unit it came with. Was it the Mk2 Swing or an Amundsen?

Your previous Rapid was a mk1, and will have different radio wiring from your current car. If you can confirm what head unit the current car had I can tell you what, if anything, you can do.

I think is the radio swing, this one autoradio-originale-skoda-rapid-spaceback-2016-26gt3b-5ja-035-871a-144775.thumb.jpg.491dbbbab132f0a4d27881ade59b635c.jpg
