Rear fog light replacement

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My current daily driver is a 2020 Scala. After turning my fog lights on one morning, I got a warning message telling me to check the left side rear fog light, and sure enough, it wasn't lighting up.

I'm running into some trouble with replacing the unit, as I can't really find a guide or schematic showing how to remove the damn thing. It's located on the bumper, so it didn't turn out to be as simple of a job as I first thought. Does anybody have any idea on how to do this, or should I just eat my pride and take the car into the dealer?

Similar situation here. We had some water ingress that shorted/broke the LED and Skoda reckon it's 1hr labour to replace as the rear bumper needs to come off to replace fog light :(. Part is £58.82.

Had the same problem on Scala 2020 this winter. After brief inspection understood - rear bumper has to be removed to get to fog light. Went to car part shop, they couldnt`t find this detail in a catalogue. So I spit on it, went to dealer, paid 180 euros.

Yeah, I ended up taking mine to the dealer and getting the light assembly switched out as well. Couldn't be bothered with removing the rear bumper in my outdoor parking spot.
