Audio fading in and out & how remove old mobile phone from car list

Since the dealer replaced the F5 Control Unit, I'm having audio issues when listening to radio or Apple Carplay where a song might fade in and out after a few seconds and keep occurring intermittently. It's quite annoying and have been troubleshooting it quite a bit without any luck. Was able to re-create it with the dealer yesterday as well and couldn't figure it out. They are due to come back to me on it.

It's like an Announcement might be coming through but this setting is turned down to the lowest at 3. Why can't this be turned off ?

Have  this error displaying "No Wi-fi connection to external hotspot" but this is required for Apple Carplay to operate.

The dealer connected his Android Galaxy phone as well but it isn't straight forward to remove an existing connected phone !

Despite the instruction on the Online Manual, the direction on how to remove an existing phone doesn't equate to the steps provided !

Attached are the instructions but not useful ! I finally managed to remove the Android Galaxy.

You need to go to the Car Icon (top right-hand corner of the display) - Settings - Connection - Mobile Devices & put the old phone in the bin.

 

Any advice on how to troubleshoot the audio issues still appreciated.
