I'm sure it's been asked many times and numerous online road test reports tell you the physical dimensions etc however, I am looking for owners opinions of each.

I am looking to buy a used 85 in the next few months and deciding on this spec was relatively straight forward but the body style is far harder.

There a plenty of well priced coupe's available in every spec (except L&K) in my £35K budget but far less in SUV spec.

This brings in the resale/depreciation aspect of the coupe.

What do the owners of each have to say about the pro's and cons of each. 

I have a medium sized dog that often goes in my current vehicle (Karoq) so this should also be a factor.

 

The other option if affordable is to wait till next year for the Elroq.

Personally I don't like the look of the Coupe - its as if it's trying to be something it isn't and has too much of a naff 'BMW coupe SUV' vibe to it.

 

I'd guess it wouldn't be as good for the dog either

I owned an estate for 3 years, switched to a coupe in July, love it, no major diference other than if you pack the boot vertically in which case there's less space

 

I chose the SUV, for me the biggest decider was that the sunroof opens and has a blind
