Superb mk4 Sportline launched

Be interested when it appears on the UK configurator. I like the carbon fibre interior. Not so sure about the gloss black external trim. I have a L&K order with the dealer but the factory haven't confirmed it yet.

Superb joins the Sportline family

The car also has an array of top-level accessories and equipment elements typical for Sportline. These include LED Matrix front headlights, progressive steering, a sports chassis, which is 15 millimetres lower in the case of the Superb Sportline, and sports wheels. A DCC Sport chassis is also available as an option.

With the Superb Sportline, customers are again given a choice: either the standard 18-inch anthracite polished Vela wheels with matt aerodynamic covers, or the optional 19-inch Aniara wheels in a combination of silver-coloured rims and black covers and 19-inch Torcular wheels in a black design. The classic black details like the radiator grille frame, window surrounds, exterior mirror caps, black Škoda lettering on the rear, Sportline logos and other details are complemented here by a specifically shaped front bumper and blacked-out rear windows in SunSet design. All these features emphasise the car’s sporty character.

The Sportline trim is available for both the Superb Combi and the hatchback version, and for any powertrain.

Why do manufacturers think that painting things black make them sporty?

To me it just makes them dull.

Give me chrome and a light interior anytime, no dingy black thanks.

Agree on the black detailing, think the superb suits a (little) bit of chrome. Though the upgraded ergonomic seats do sound nice...!

Drove 650kms to Bordeaux in June the same week I took delivery, the standard seats were supremely comfortable with no problems whatsoever, best ever on any car I have ever owned.

The sports seats look very nice but they are more than likely style over substance like anything with the word 'sport' usually is.

Good stuff! And I agree the "comfort" seats in my MK3 Superb are significantly more comfortable than the sport seats in our previous Octavia vRS. It was "AGR-certified ergonomic seats" (and adjustable seat length as I am 6'2)  which caught my eye as we are euro roadtrip regulars also...

Received my Sportline, manufactured between April/May 2025.

DCC is noisy, after all introduced fixes by the factory so right now it is a feature of the new Superb4 probably until facelift model would appear.

Otherwise I am very happy coming from B8 Passat.

Interior quality is good, no cracks or whines, completely silent on the road. Materials are nice quality besides everything is sad black inside.

Congrats on your new car!

Do anyone know if there is any differences between L&K’s DCC Plus and Sportline’s DCC Sport Plus?
