Windows open during rain

Featured Replies

Somehow left the front windows open during the rain last night. Could be worse, centre console is fine but doors are soaked, etc.

Drying it out isn’t an issue, but reckon there’s any damage caused?

I'd strip out your seats and carpets and leave them somewhere to dry.  My son's car had a leak and the carpets were saturated and the floor pans wet through.  No way would they have dried in the UK weather in the car.   We had to leave them in the sun for a couple of days to dry them.  Your doors should be OK if the drain holes are clear

Might be worth getting some of those cheap dehumidifier bags off eBay too.

When I had a water leak in a previous car (Citroen C1) I had to put a fan heater in the car on max temperature to properly dry out the carpets and sound insulation underneath.
