PDC absolutely crazy

Featured Replies

My car is totally crazy. I bought my 2024 octavia mk4 in April of this year, and since then I have had many problems.

The most persistent one shows me a fault in the parking system and the PDC is completely canceled until I turn the vehicle off and on again. I have several videos that I have given to my dealer (workshop) about this fault and I have left the car on repeated occasions for periods of up to a full week, and they cannot find the fault. I have written to the Skoda (factory) and still have no solution.

A few days ago, it got worse (I attach one video) it showed me a fault in PDC when I was rolling or stopped at a red light and I had no vehicles in front of me. Even when I got home a message appeared to clean the sensors. At that same moment I took the car to the dealership (workshop) and they told me that they would send the information to the factory (videos and DISS report). Days later, the factory responds that they must make another video when the car fails... WHAT!!!?

I take it that you don't know what's going on? Don't you have a solution? or do they make fun of the client?

Please, could you help me? Has anyone had these problems? Do you know what the solution would be? Please I need a guide or help with this problem🙏

happens at least 2/3 times per weak !  Its as a result of the very poor software and I dont think Skoda dealsers can fix it

Mine started a couple of weeks ago - there is a long thread with lots of history here -->

You guys are getting me worried! To date the PDC on my 2020 SEL 1st Ed has been 100% reliable and accurate. I feel the need to avoid complacency!!!
