hi guys, new to this so please forgive any errors. 

 

i have a 68-plate Octavia and as far as i know, the infotainment system has never been updated

 

1. so my question, does it do it automatically when I have my phone connected
2. if not how do i do it?
3. does it need it?
4. where do i get the updates 
5. how can  tell if i am an old version
