Disabling SKODA_BT

Featured Replies

Hello, replaced the old RCD330 unit with a newer Android unit equipped with its own BT, and still getting continuous pair rewuests from SKODA_BT (Which is not and was not the name for the old unit). Read that the BT module originally was placed under sits -  I have notbing there but dust. What is going on?

Do you mean that your phone is asking if you want to pair with SKODA BT?

The stock Bluetooth unit lives under the drivers seat but is well protected and hence well hidden.

Is the thread title a question?

If so the unit can be disabled by disconnecting but thereafter any scan for fault codes will show a comms error for the BT module, it needs to be deleted from the installation list.

Thanks JR, I don't see anything under the seats.

Will look for it within the unit's tunnel
