Left side Indicator fault

Featured Replies

Hello All

I have a 2014 Skoda Rapid Spaceback.  Last week my bulb light came on when indicating left.  But instead of just one bulb being out, the whole left side was out.  Then it fixed itself, then returned later in the day.  Then I noticed if I turned the key, and either put my hazards or left indicator on, it would work fine.  Switch on the engine and the bulb symbol came on again.  Now its progressed the having the bulb symbol on all the time, just by turning the key.  Checked the front and back indicator bulbs and no corrosion, I also disconnected the hazard light and same thing happened with indicators.  The right hand side indicators work fine, and so does main and break lights.  I'm not mechanically minded, but I keep seeing online about Indicator relay appear.  Could this be the issue (and if so where is the location of the relay please, as I cant find any clear instructions online), or possible something else.  My garage cant fit me in for 11 days, so am desperate to fix.

Any Help gratefully received

Unfortunately the relay will be inside BCM - ie one of the car's smart controller.

One other thing that can cause this is the indicator stalk, do all 4 hazard lights work always when you turn them on?

Not anymore. Hazard lights only flash on right hand side.  The bulb light on dash is on permanently on.

A friend of mine put a diagnostic of the electrics today, and it found this.
