2023 Skoda Superb Estate Sportline Plus - Aftermarket reversing camera options?

Featured Replies

Hello to Briskoda Forum

This is my first visit and post, my growing windy watersports interest means that my 2018 T-ROC SEL 4-Motion is no longer big enough for all my kit on trips to the beach. I am looking to change to Superb Estate Sportline Plus. The petrol engine 280 hp power output and 4x4 options are appealing, I think it is the MK III version of the Superb Estate? There are not many up for sale and having found a couple of late 2023 registered cars with Columbus SatNav, I see neither have a reversing camera fitted. A Skoda dealer has told me that Skoda do not have a retro fit kit availabe for this model ( apparently, they do have for earlier versions).

Apologies, as this question has doubtless come up before on this forum, but are aftermarket reversing camera kits available? I've spent around an hour searching on the web and not found any options so far.

Having previously scoffed at the need for  reversing cameras, having had one on my T-ROC, I don't think I could drive another car and happily engage reverse without cursing the lack of a camera!

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome JESJRA :hi:

Well it's certainly possible.  I seem to recall @ApertureS fitting one (amongst a phenomenal amount of other goodies) in this somewhat epic thread:

Out of interest, I was looking for a Superb earlier this year, and was quite surprised at how many didn't have reversing cameras.

Thank  you Gaz, appreciated.

Apologies if I am wrong here, but I think the 3V0 054 634A reversing camera will not retro fit to more recent versions ( well, this is what the Skoda dealership told me).

I will have a search of the forum.

Many thanks
