VCDS coding for rear lights on with DRLs with auto lights (Not Scandinavian)

Featured Replies

Hi,

Hopefully somebody can shed some light on how to do the following.

Rear tail lights on with front DRL's when light switch is on AUTO.

Have tried the following adaptation.

Scandinavian DRLs,  unit 9 central electrics and changed

Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusaetzlich Standlicht

From: not active

To: active

(This also puts the front side lights, rear parkers, number plate lights and dashboard lights on). Not what I'm looking to achieve.

So does anybody know what coding is required to enable the Left and Right rear lights to act as DRL's on AUTO.

Many Thanks SC030TT

Tried this this morning. In the latest version of VCDS, there are two options "Daytime Runnings Lights", tried this and it didn't work. Next tried "Daytime Running Lamps", success.

Have attached screen shots of this.

Also thanks for the link, have enabled a few further options, Fuel refuel quantity, cornering fog lights and automatic daylight saving time update.
