Vrs 2.0 Tsi oil (2020)

Featured Replies

Probably a daft question for those who know but I couldn't find it on the car and the manual suggests contacting the dealer. On my 20 plate Octavia vRS estate (2.0 tsi) what oil does it use?

I had a touch of 5w 30 (504 507) left from my last car (66 plate Leon Cupra) and presumed this would be the same so I used that to top up a couple of months or so ago. But on looking to buy some on various places it seems this possibly isn't the case - seems to be a bit of a minefield 😀

Can anyone help?

Since 2018 VW group / Skoda went to VW508 00 / 509 00 so 0w 20 FS IV.

You can use VW504 00 / 507 00  5w 30 or 0w 30 FS III in a tsi if you want to.
