Hi

I have a 2009 Fabia 1.2 Petrol which has an Intermittent starting issue. Sometimes it will start first turn of the key no problem. Other times it will spin over normally and not start This can happen for a number of times and then it will start as though it had run out of fuel.

I have read the codes on it which are P0264, P0267, P0261 which indicate a bad earth on the injectors.

I have load tested the wiring to the ecu, had the ECU tested, replaced the crank sensor but it has made no difference

Has anyone any ideas please

Have you looked at and tested the connection where the injector wiring connects to the chassis - I'm thinking looseness or corrosion?

There is a positive feed to the injectors and the switching is via the retun via the ecu, where is the earth point you mention please

I had, it seems wrong, assumed that the switched feed was positive?

 

However, that fault code could also mean that the power feed to the injectors is intermittent.

ETA: You might have already covered most or all that's in the videos but a reminder and cross check is usually good to confirm finds.

 

I'm not a mechanic or expert in anything but the following videos seem to give good general info on the codes, how accurate to your particular issue I don't know but staring with basics is generally the best way to start diagnostics and resolves.
