Hello, i have a new iV and cannot get it to charge properly...

 

Everytime it starts to charge it operates at 2KW I.e. with reduced ac charge set. It is not set.

 

If I toggle reduced ac charge On and then Off it jumps to 7KW. Really annoying with timed off peak charging..  

 

 Am I missing something? The dealer has no idea and has not heard of any known bugs.

There are other threads similar with PHEV Superb or Octavia.  ? What wall box have you.  As far as Dealership Staff and knowing stuff that means nothing really, were you talking to an EV trained Technician or some random member of staff?

It is a POD Point wall box. 

 

Yes, understand re the dealer, but I wanted to see if there were any known issues and thought I'd try them. 

Hopefully those in the know will be along.

Update, occurred a few times but not since, unsure what was causing this but 7kw charging has been fine for a while now...
