What is it?

Spoiler

We have a 2023 SEL with the removable seats and after a tip run to get rid of old carpet I found this on the floor.

I presume it is out of one of the seats but the implication of that is that there is also a fastener loose somewhere.

It didn’t come out of the old carpet.

Any ideas?

I have the same car and despite taking seats out many times have never come across anything resembling this.

Google image search suggests it might be an upholstery washer?

That is it, must just be a loose one that was left in the seat at the factory.

Thanks
