Wrap kits

Featured Replies

Vinyl Flare make kits for wrapping brake calipers, and I think some of them look neat, but they don't specify which models their kits fit, which got me thinking.

Since Skoda cars share a lot of common parts with other VAG brands, there's a chance a product marketed for a VW Jetta or Seat Ibiza may fit a Fabia or an Octavia etc.

Are there any wrap/modding/etc kits for parts that fit Skodas?

Edit: Should've named the thread differently.

They do not show anything for Itsy bisy teeny weeny VW Group Ibiza / Polo / Fabia Brake Calipers or even Octavia / Golf / Passatt etc.

Fit Bentley or Porsche Calipers & then maybe you are sorted for wrapping.

Painting Fabia ones is usually enough.

Well, of course not, it's not much beyond a hot hatch, if even that 😆

That's a good idea though. Is this usually done with standard automotive paint sprays, or would the heat oil and moisture necessitate a specialized paint?

Also - my intent with the thread was to ask for any model and any modification. Anything that fits a Skoda but doesn't get labelled as such.

Plenty threads here over the years on painting calipers or refurbished ones.  eg  Fabia Mk1 vRS in green.

Appropriate heat resistant paint is just 'Simply Clever', AKA Common Sense.
