Hi all.  We have just got a 2019 RS diesel with the rare (or at least in NZ) sunroof option.  We love it but it has just started the waterpump sleeve issue.  The 3rd party insurance company refuses to get it seen to until "it has a code" which of course the sleeve failing to shift will never actually throw a code, thus never actually presenting with a "failure".

 

WE called skoda NZ and of course they know this is a common issue and the guy we spoke to even has done it on his own car. He says they have a tech bulletin on this that we could show the insurance company but cannot give it to us.

Do any of you have access to this bulletin?

Put it in writing to Skoda NZ.  As the owner and keeper of a vehicle.  Responsible for your and others safety. & the Vehicles maintenance.

Do not leave it to the word of some random guy who thinks that he is the keeper of all the secrets and it is Data Protected & an Commercial / Industry Secret & could cost VW Group billions if Cars Owners were to know what some random people at dealerships can know.
