Hot starting problem

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Have an issue with my felly 1.6 aee

It's absolutely fine when cold but when it's been running for a while it will only start when bumped and then runs lovely. It's had new dizzy, coolant temp sensor, coil pack, map sensor, throttle body, inlet seals and ht leads, Iv replaced the o rings on injectors..the only thing I haven't replaced at the moment is pressure regulator..could this be my issue? I had a few issues with it hence why iv changed so much, no fault code are being displayed either. Any help would be very very much appreciated.

Thanks

You can check it with a manometer to see if there is a pressure drop.

Do you happen to know what the pressure should read? Thanks

I should say that prior to me getting it is was running no lambda sensor, it was just not there and plug left hanging. Which I also read on another post that could kill the pressure regulator after time.

I will find it today, i worked with it in the past.

Maybe the ECU took control as security measure.

I tried and found the 2 relative videos, i had them posted plus the measurements from my car in a topic but this was deleted to ''the other guy'' fault which caused nothing more than problems.

Nevertheless it's very easy to take measures in a repair-shop, won't take long.

Pay attention to the hose clamps after you finish the job, tighten them and watch for a possible leak, i faced this in the past.
