Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with their start stop systems. Just had a new battery on my Octavia mk4 VRs. I deactivate the start stop function but during the journey it reactivates itself annoyingly? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what could be causing it. 

Hello Danny, does this stop/start reactivation occur after you stop and shut-off the ignition? That is normal.

Was the new battery adapted (coded) into the vehicles BCM? 

It reactivates randomly during the journey. I deactivate it on the infotainment screen but when I close that screen down, sometimes it stays deactivated, sometimes it reactivates itself? Very annoying. New battery was fitted last week from the dealership

Did they recode the battery management system after fitting the new battery?

I’m not sure, I’d of hoped so. 

Best check with the Service Desk tomorrow with them checking with the Master Tech who can ask the fitter.
