Hi, I have a 2020 kodiaq, has anyone else had a fairly regular dropping out of the sos system? Seems to also wipe out the microphone for phone calls and occasionally the GPS too. 

I have had this happen to me also.

I think it depends on your location as you can lose signal which affects everything.

I could be wrong though!

Does it drop out or do you get a fault message and the tell tale above your head change from green to red? I've had this fault attended to 3 times now, and it is due in again the day after Boxing Day. You may be told it's an issue with mobile phone coverage or that a software update is required, but in my experience it is likely to be a hardware fault. 

My MY21 was fixed with just a software update allegedly, so perhaps I was lucky, or perhaps there was more to it that I wasn't told about.

 

Yes, once SOS went, other things did too.

Thanks for replying, when it happens I get a fault on the dash, normally clears after a full power down. If I don’t do a full power down (just on and off ignition) the infotainment sometimes can’t even boot up.
