I need to replace the front lower control arms on my 2014 Superb Mk2 estate 3.6 4x4. I want to also replace the ball joints, so want to either get arms with new ball joint on or separate parts. Every search, narrowed down to year, model,  engine, 4x4 etc, as much info as I can enter, seems to give me a choice of two taper sizes - one is about 15mm and one 20mm.  

I have no idea which are the right ones, without taking one off and measuring it. I'm always loathe to try and remove an old, potentially stuck, part without having the new one ready.

Even the search by VIN sites don't seem to help.

Anyone know by experience which one it is?

Lower arm balljoint part numbers for your VIN are 1K0407365C for the left, and 1K0407366C for the right side.  Parts catalogue doesn't give a dimension for the taper.
