Infotainment unit not always switching on

Hi.

This is an intermittent problem-

The infotainment unit in my 2019 1.5 SEL usually powers up when I start the car.

However recently it has started to delay turning on.

I just get a black screen. No.amount of pressing buttons or pleading with it has any effect.

Give it a few minutes and it suddenly boots up and comes on.

Thoughts please?

Symptom, Upon locking the car I got a double pulse, from past experience I diagnoses the infamous flexible bit of the harness (pass side front door wasn't locking), poor design (should have used more flexible wires but that would have added £1 to manufacturing costs) I replaced the D/S 3 years ago and bought 2 harnesses at the time so had a spare in the loft, now fitted and all good. I'm going to repair the removed one as a spare

I currently got a 2008 octavia vrs but I've become a bit disabled over the years need my hip replaced ect Now I need an automatic and I can get a car on the mobility scheme. Has anyone got experience with this. I like the look of the new leons and noticed you can get them and they cover the insurance and everything. but would i be better off getting a used one and putting the money towards that instead

Hi everyone, I have a 2016 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI with Climatronic, and I'm encountering a frustrating A/C issue. Problem: After driving at highway speeds (90 km/h or higher) for a prolonged time, the A/C stops cooling. The air coming from the vents is the same flow volume but no longer cold, although the system appears to still be "on."
