My 2012 tsi had a dead batt so charged it up fine put it back on the car had powersteering lights traction control and tyre pressure o. Did what was told and turned wheel left to right and all fine. Then 2 days later batt dead again so put another batt on then all of a sudden no power steering same lights on along with battery light so got the aa out and they diagnosed alternator so had a new 1 fitted along with new batt. Still have the same issues red light power steering (no power steering at all )batt light still on  and alternator still not charging.  Any ideas ???

I think this is key; ask an auto electrician to check the alternator.

The garage is fitting a new 1 just to see if that is the problem  thanks
