Adblue indication continually showing 6500 miles left

Featured Replies

2019 1.6 diesel Octavia, 87000 miles, when I bought it a few weeks ago it said there was 6500 miles range on the Adblue.

Thought I would just check again today and it’s still reading 6500 miles range.

Faulty sensor = new tank?????

How many miles have you done since?

My 2016 2.0 TDI SCR DSG Seat Alhambra dropped  @ 500 miles or went down by 500 miles maybe 700-1,000 miles later..

After so long it started sipping AdBlue and dropped less often.

It was after a few fill up of AdBlue that it showed more and more range.

Ootohere Just about done 500 miles, so it sounds like it may click over soon then??? What is the range on a full tank of Ad-blue do you happen to know??? I see yours is showing 7000miles????

Somebody will be along that knows if 12 or 13 litres. Sounds about right.

My Superb with AdBlue also counts in 500kms so Id give it a few hundred/thousand miles to see if it works.

You're given a warning when you have a few thousand miles left on AdBlue if I remember correctly.

Mine says 8500 miles when I fill up and it does about 20K+ before I fill it up at 1500 remaining. I would say its normal, don't expect 6500 remaining miles to be 6500 miles worth
