Does anyone do a chip or re-map with a warranty on the engine and transmission?

I think AmD do this on some of there diesel conversions, but I've not seen it for petrols. I can't see anything on the Jabba website either.

If not, anyone know of a decent third-party warranty* outfit?

Superchips offer an insurance based warranty cover, just in case your manufacturer won't honour your standard one after a remap

Surely the superchips warranty covers the chip and ECU only?

Plus aren't superchips rubbish?

I wouldn't bother with Superchips, but I would be interested if someone could PM me with a Jabba-friendly dealer in the South-East......

Can't see why warranties can't be offered. All warranties are insurance policies, the only difference is the 'premium' is hidden in the cost of what ever the warranty is offered on. Chipping/re-mapping an engine for more power/torque increases the risk of a failure, so you just bump-up the 'premium'.....
