Aux Socket Dead

Featured Replies

Although the usb next to the aux socket is working the aux socket isn't.

Neither is the one in the boot.

I'm presuming it's the fuse so anyone know which one.

Also found out that the fuse box is in a completely different place than where it was in the mk 2. And a lot harder to get to 🙄

One other question. I've noticed that thr power to the usb is subject to the ignition be active.

Is this the same for the aux sockets ?

Thanks

i assume u r referring to the 12v socket?

the AUX is usually where u plug ur headphones into.  there isn't one in the boot.

the 12v sockets r controlled by two different fuses.

  • #30    12-volt socket in luggage compartment
  • #40    12-volt power outlet

fuses r located behind the glovebox for RHD Superb.

the 12v socket is permanent live, in other words - they remain powered even after the car is switched off.
